There is a railway at Kyle of Lochalsh with trains running daily to Inverness. There is also a railway station in Malaig with trains travelling to Fort William and then onwards to Glasgow. The village of Struan is approximately 37 miles from the Skye bridge if travelling to the island by road from the mainland.
