Inky the Sheep at the Royal Highland Show
25 June 2015
Inksters were at the Royal Highland Show again this year from 18 to 21 June providing crofting law information. We were on the Scottish Crofting Federation stand along with Registers of Scotland who were providing advice on the Crofting Register.
Brian Inkster was on hand to dispense crofting law information on 18 and 19 June and Martin Minton was doing so on 20 and 21 June.
Like last year we had a prize draw to win a hamper of Scottish fare. But this year we also had a new star attraction: Inky the prize winning sheep. Inky brought in the crowds proving to be one of the most popular attractions at this year's Royal Highland Show!

Visitors to the stand included Trudi Sharp, the Scottish Government Director for Agriculture, Rural Development and Land Reform.

We also had a visit from Dr Aileen McLeod MSP, Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform with responsibility for Crofting. Dr McLeod told Brian Inkster that the Scottish Government's response to The Crofting Law Sump would be forthcoming "very, very soon". That is to be looked forward to.

Inksters had an enjoyable time at The Royal Highland Show discussing crofting law and meeting friends and contacts old and new. Inky the sheep will be glad of a rest after the show before her next outing at the Caithness County Show!
