Purchase

There is much more involved in buying a property than finding it and handing over a cheque. It is a many-stage process and a wrong turn at any point could lead to the collapse of the transaction or, worse, an enormous legal headache later when problems come to light.

Inksters can guide you through the whole process. From the initial note of interest, when we formally let the seller know that you are interested and make sure they keep you informed of any developments through us, to completing the process by transferring the title of the property into your name, we will diligently look after your interests. We can arrange for the property to be surveyed, help with the security arrangements for your mortgage and, in the meantime, will be carefully checking the property’s titles to ensure there are no problems which could crop up at a later date. Once you are happy to go ahead with the purchase, we will negotiate a contract of sale through offer and acceptance letters (known as missives), arrange for the property to be transferred into your name, and take care of the many technicalities involved in the registration of this transfer, which is what finally makes you the owner.

We will provide you with a quotation of our fees and outlays when you first contact us so, as long as the conveyance runs smoothly, as it does for the vast majority of our clients, you will know how much it is going to cost from the outset.
